Outside of work he loves the outdoors including diving or surfing in the ocean, and tramping or skiing in the mountains.
Thomas has worked with Yes Electrical growing his skills for many years. He’s developed from being our junior electrician to running his own van and jobs, training others and enjoys the satisfaction of completing a top job for customers. When he’s not at work Thomas can be found on the golf course, or supporting the Hurricanes or All Blacks at the cake tin.
Philip has joined us midway through his apprenticeship and moved to electrical after 10 years working in hospitality. He’s been a head chef and chef at a number of prominent Wellington hotels and restaurants. Philip is enjoying his new career, which also requires his skills of attention to detail and great customer service. When he’s not on the job, Philip is a car enthusiast and loves working on these projects.
Cory’s early career involved an 18 month stint in the army and then working in customer service roles before a change to train as an electrician in recent years. He enjoys the variety and challenge that electrical work presents every day. His longer-term goal is to become an electrical inspector. Cory loves the outdoors and being among nature, riding his motorbike and playing rugby. Although he currently lives in Wellington, Cory still plays rugby for his club in Upper Hutt where he grew up.
